Strange bars

Popped down to the sorting office after work to collect some packages. I must be ordering too much as the postie saw me in the queue, turned round and picked up my parcels and just handed them straight over.

Thanks to one of the parcels, the road bike now has slightly strange bars on it.

A crap picture of some On-One Mungo bars.

They feel a bit odd to start with, but seem to work quite well. It’ll be interesting to see how they cope when I ride into work next.

He has been known to frequent strange bars before!

I’d get some of those, but then I’d end up building a whole new bike around them ;-)

Put them on the Specialiazed :o)

I have a suspicion that they will end up getting fitted to a rebuilt singlespeed clockwork at some point. Just need some decent 1″ threaded rigid forks, or RC30 legs.

    Gay bars.

    (Ducks and gets coat)

Will from the scottish MTB list has something similar on his Tinbred.

I would put some on the Cannondale in its new utility-bike role. But it’s got V-brakes and gears which leads to something of a brake lever/shifter dilemma.

  8. rjw says:

It does make changing gear with Sora shifters a bit of a challenge.

    I could imagine. :-$
