Back in the saddle.

Went out for a 25 mile spin on the cross bike tonight with birthday boy Ian. We did our usual flattish route to Bradford on Avon and home again in around 90 minutes. Got a bit wet on the way home, and my legs were very very tired. It was my first proper ride since the beginning of December, and it’s amazing how much fitness you lose, especially when you didn’t have much to start with.

Same again next week hopefully.

so no proper Scottish rides at Grantfest then?
And to Grant, we enjoyed haggis, neeps and tatties tonight with a wee dram or two of The McCallan. But don’t tell Rich!

10 slow miles at Glentress doesn’t really count.

Where’s my haggis, neeps, and tatties?

I might sample the Knockando again later though.

As this was the latest entry, I dutifully report that our Rich had his name immortalised twice in the local rag. Once for a spare to win a game and second for the overall highest score. He has obviousley been basking in the glory ever since and has had nothing better to report!

We had the same. Shouldn’t need an excuse for haggis though. :-)

I counted the Glentress ride, even if just for twice round Spooky Woods.
