Sodding Typical
It’s New Years Eve tomorrow which is no doubt why I’m getting yet another cold. It’s also been raining constantly since I woke up this morning which isn’t particularly nice, and the network at work is playing up. I think I should just have stayed in bed this morning.

I just suffer.

I don’t seem to get ill, probably because I am permanently on the bottom rung of health.

that brought a tear to my eye…. ‘bottom rung of health’ .. kind of poetic though

Well, I failed to reach the target Matt sorta set for me. However, I blame the two snapped chainring bolts 8.5 miles into today’s ride. :-/
That Inbred seems cursed. :-$
Glentress yesterdy was cancelled due to both the weather and Craig’s asthma playing up enough to warrant an emergency doctors appointment and today’s long ride was curtailed by the above.
However, I stil think I did okay bearing in mind that I had almost 2 months off the bike this year in total due to injury/illness…….
2006 though….not going to kill myself by aiming for Matt-like milage, but I think that 3000 miles could be an interesting challenge. :-)

You need better chainring bolts.
I snapped half of a chain link in two, and didn’t notice til I got home.. result!

Aye, for sure.
Not sure what ones these were to be honest. Maybe Middleburn ones, or CRC’s own. Not sure. Both sets were black and I can’t remember what bike each set were on………………………….
I think the chainring now has a nice bend in it too. Luckily I think I have a spare.
