Not Dead Yet

Well I was in and out in four hours in the end, the surgery itself took about 20 minutes. The lump they removed was pretty sizable, and slightly larger than they were expecting. The anaesthetic hasn’t worn off yet, so it doesn’t hurt at the moment, but I’ve stocked up with painkillers in preparation for the weekend.

    It’s gone off to Histology to be examined to make sure it was benign.

    Was it between the muscle and the skin or was it deeper than that?.. how big..? did they weight it? did it have a face?

    It was between the muscle and the skin. I think it was about 4″ across and 1″ thick.

    when I had my toe done I was expecting loads of pain, and there wasn;t any, only a smell of chemicals and decomposition :)
