Blessed are the big noses

Today was my first offroad ride for nearly three weeks, and the first ride with my new On-One Bignose saddle on the Unit. It was bloody hot out which made the ride somewhat unpleasant, but the trails were nice and dry and empty which more than made up for it. The new saddle is pretty comfortable, with plenty more padding that the Selle Italia Oktavia it replaced. I might keep the Oktavias for the road bikes and get another Bignose for the Stiffee.

Tonight we’re off to the The Wurzels again, hopefully I can work out where to get the bus from so that I can get there in time to find my ticket.

I decided I’d rather go for a spin on the Unit, it’s a bit too warm for a long road ride.

Day off the bikes today, motogp, le tour and f1 for me instead.

Good call R to the W.
although road rides are cooler, in terms of wind cooling, my rode was quite nice actually, my legs didn;t like it and my back end kept stepping out around corners.. not exactly perfect.

    still.. 900 miles in 31 rides :)
