I’ve just had an email from Ribble saying
Thanks for your recently placed order for the Record 06′ Ergopower Levers, I regret to inform you that we have unfortunately over sold of this item and are unable to supply you with the goods you have ordered. We have cancelled the order and no charge has been made against your card.
That was despite ordering 15 minutes after the sale email was sent out. I guess it wasn’t a real sale after all. It’s also taken them nearly a week to decide they aren’t going to send me any.
/me strikes Ribble off the list of shops to buy things from in the future.

As far as I can tell, I got the email about 20 seconds after they sent it out, and ordered about 15-20 minutes later.

And there I was thinking of asking you if they had turned up since I’m still waiting for the new brake levers for my fixy.
I assume they’ll turn up at some point since they’re listed on the site, but I’ve already put Ribble back in the “only use if you have to” box.

a week to tell you they haven;t got any is mad though, but that’s not surprising thye probably sold them before they’d actually recieved them.. I have some stories about ribble…
