UPS finally turned up ten minutes ago clutching a tiny padded envelope with two new straps in. Given that they didn’t match the existing straps I ended up replacing both, but at least I now have a fully working set of Sidi shoes ready for tonights ride.

A couple of days later than last year though.
yup!, still 30 days quicker than 04 though.
I’ve stalled. Not even done 100 miles this month :(
I have just found some 18yo Caol Ila behind the fridge though :)
Today was windy as hell AGAIN.. grr. soggy too :(
I might invest in some shoe driers like snowboarders have.
Windy and very wet here today. No ride for me tonight, the 2000 mile mark will have to wait another day.
3000 miles will have to wait for another day. It’s the wrong temperature for wet and windy weather. I either need it cold or really warm. This in between stuff makes it to difficult to decide what to wear :(
