Tonight my HID light lasted 45 minutes of a 90 minute ride. Thanks to the loan of Ians spare light, and judicious use of the 12W Lumi light I’d fortuitously remembered to fit, I made it home without too much trouble and without falling off the road.
I chased The Rush up today about a replacement battery, they are meant to be checking availability tonight, failiing that I’ll order a new Lumicycle battery tomorrow so that I can ride again next week.
On better news, I rode the Trek XO through it’s 2000th mile tonight. I think that deserves a celebration.
2000 miles? Must be time to get a replacement :)

It’s taken me nearly 3 years to reach 2000 miles :)
I think my cross bike has done a bit over a 1000 miles in the last couple of years, not a lot really.
