This is what road bikes were made for
A crisp foggy start to the ride, trees in full-on autumn colours, the sun slowly burning away the fog leaving sunshine and clear blue skies. Tea and cake at Chew Valley looking over the lake with the last of the fog lingering in the distance. Then a gentle run back home in the sunshine to finish off the 35 miles.
Perfect.
