With the V-brakes that are on there at the moment there is a bit of judder at low speed as the blocks grab the rim. Careful setup could probably fix that though.
When I had the Avid Shorty 4 cantis on there, the judder and squeal was horrendous.
The Paul brakes are now on there way, however they’ll probably go on the XO instead now as it’s got rather more sturdy P2 forks.
Did you do that in the name of love?
IGMC
Are you having (had) issues with fork judder on the Tricross?

So you went with the Pauls in the end anyway.. or did you order them really long ago and they’ve only just started to move this direction?
I ordered them ages ago, but the guy I ordered them from was having trouble getting any response out of Paul Components.
He refunded my deposit a few weeks ago, then all of a sudden they seemed to wake up, answer his emails, and process the order.
Should be here in a couple of weeks.
Excellent.
I should buy a chainring and brake hanger for my build.. then I can have a full set of parts to ignore.
