Pimp my TriCross
The Paul brakes I ordered back in August finally arrived this week, after some deliberations I decided to put them onto the TriCross to see how bad the brake judder would be. When using a headset mounted cable stop the judder was horrendous, however with a bodge-fitted fork-crown mounted cable stop it’s a lot better, the only downside is that you don’t get an optimal straddle-cable length.
The only job left now is to swap the bars and stem back to the oversize ones.

I don’t know how you will manage with a non-optimal straddle-cable! Especially with a bodge-fitted fork-crown.

There must be an issue with forks on tricrosses.
I must get me one of those headset hanger things..:o
