NYE - The Aftermath

Last night was spent in the pub round the corner with various friends.

The Royal Oak

Despite feeling crap for most of the night, I came to life a bit around 00:30 and enjoyed myself immensely. Much beer was quaffed, disgusting combinations of sprirts were drunk as punishment during drinking games, and bad dancing was exhibited by all.

Cards and a drink of pure evil

I think we eventually staggered out about 3am and headed home.

More photos.

I feel the need for a Sigma 30/1.4 lens now, or maybe a 5D.

It looked like a fun evening. Glad you managed to drag yourself out.

I found myself looking at lenses on Ebay last night. I managed to stop myself.

I keep thinking about the ubiquitious Sigma 10-20mm, which I would use loads based on the fact I use my Canon 20-35mm 75% of the time (and at 20mm almost all of the time too), but obviously I have the 20-35mm so it seems potentially redundant (though incapable of many of the shots I want).

    I’ll stop rambling now.

Now I can fully understand how Catherine has attracted a lot of viewings but how sad is it that 2nd is ‘Mind your head’? Or am I sad for counting?
And the WB looks a little canonish!

  4. Rich Says:

“Mind your head” had been posted elsewhere hence the disproportionate number of viewings.

  5. Simon Says:

Have you ordered a 5D yet Rich?

  6. Rich Says:

    Nope. No money.

  7. Simon Says:

Ah, that’s a bit of a stumbling block.

How’s the site template coming along or is this it?

  8. Rich Says:

    This’ll do for the moment.

I didn’t want to be the one who pointed out this. :-)

Nor did I , but I waited patiently and then thought, what the heck, I need to draw attention to the stunning picture of ‘Mind your head’ and what better way to do it!
