Making Firefox 3 look less stupid
The worst bit about the forthcoming Firefox 3 is the new functionality of the address bar. The new richlist format gives far too much preference to the title of the page rather than the URL, and just looks ugly.
Fear not, help is at hand.
Type "about:config" into the address bar, find the browser.urlbar.richResults boolean entry, and set it to "false". Restart Firefox and all is back to normal.

It sucks more than a really sucky thing.
If I start to type in “en.” aiming for en.wikipedia.org (which us the proper behaviour as displayed by Firefox 2) it offers me such delights as http://www.on-one.co.uk/, http://www.thisisbath.co.uk/, http://www.edfenergy.com/ etc etc.

Have they solved their memory leak problem yet? This current firefox session is using about half a gig of ram. I guess I should restart it more frequently but I’m too lazy.
