A new kind of camera strap

My new BlackRapid RS-2 camera strap arrived today. It’s a bit different from a "normal" strap in that you wear it bandolier style, and the camera hangs upside-down behind you when you aren’t using it. A quick living-room test seems promising, it’ll get a proper test at the half-marathon on Sunday.

That looks good, does it twizz around you when you pull the camera up or does the strap remain stationary?

  2. rich says:

It should stay in place, the clip runs freely on the strap provided you don’t twist things too much.

    Looks interesting.

Thanks for choosing the Rstrap.. Are you running with the strap this weekend or shooting the half-marathon.
Whatever review you give we are open to blogging your life in the bus lane on http://www.Blackrapid.com if you have photos to share that would be cool. Thank so much, let me know what you think?

I shall be attempting to run a drinks station, control 20 or so scouts, and take photographs at the same time. Probably in the pouring rain by the look of things.

  6. matt says:

So you’ll be holding an umbrella too?

  7. matt says:

Ah, yeah, I forgot you’re the Bath Cowboy.

I really should use my camera sometime, it’s almost a year since I used it properly!
