Creak no more
I appear to have finally solved the creaking problem on the Ribble, it looks like removing the pedals, regreasing the threads, and refitting them has done the job leaving blissful silence on the ride into work this morning.

Excellent! That reminds me, I should go and try and find the square taper bottom bracket that I think is somewhere in the house to replace the wobbly/creaky one in my CX bike.
