Current Status: There was no one to receive the goods at the delivery point so a card was left.
City Link seem to have an aversion to delivering to neighbouring houses, but I’ve booked tomorrow afternoon off to pick it up from the depot and have a play around.
Update: The bastards have moved. I arranged to collect it thinking that the depot was still where it’s always been, just on the Bath edge of Bristol, but they’ve moved across town to the arse-end of Bristol by the M5.

today my postman just dropped my package off with the neighbour as he couldn’t be arsed ringing my doorbell, despite me being in… I guess at least he used the neighbour.
Turns out Shitty Link refused to leave the parcel with a neighbour, even after she offered to take it for me.

My “local ” shittylink depot has changed from “the one that’s handy and on the way to work that has the drivers that are good at leaving stuff with neighbours so I rarely have to go there anyway” to “the one that’s in the opposite direction from everything and has drivers that will not ever leave anything with a neighbour”.
