The return of Red Dwarf

Red Dwarf returns to our screens tonight almost 10 years to the day since the last episode aired, and just over 21 years since it first hit our screens. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s as good as it was in its prime. I’ll pause my Battlestar Galactica viewing for the evening so I can watch Red Dwarf, since buying the box set last Monday I’ve worked through the mini series, and all of seasons one and two, which seems as good a place as any to stop for a short while.

Sunday brings this year’s Paris-Roubaix, complete with 3.5 hours of coverage on Eurosport. Road to Roubaix and A Sunday in Hell have been watched in preparation, and 24 Solo also made an appearance as I found it while looking for the other DVDs and fancied watching it again.

    I’m worried about Red Dwarf…..

The plot appears to be a photocopy of The League of Gentlemen Apocalypse………………………..
