All good things come to an end

My two weeks off work is finally coming to an end, and to be honest I’ve enjoyed it so much I don’t really want to go back. However I’d soon run out of money if I just stayed at home all the time, so back to work I must go.

I’m also nearing the end of my two-week run through of Battlestar Galactica, it looks like it’ll be a good finale.

Midpoint of season 4? Yes, for sure.

Nope, the end of season 4.5 (aka The Final Season), I downloaded the last part as I didn’t want to wait until the DVDs arrived.

I finished about half an hour after posting this entry last weekend :)

    Okay, and?

Happy? Sad? Satisfied? Disappointed? Fulfilled? Confused?

    Yes :)

I felt they dragged the end of the final episode out a bit too long, and what’s the deal with Starbuck?

She died in the nebula, her body ending up on Earth. However, she hadn’t fulfilled her destiny (destinies?) of leading humanity to Earth or of leading humanity to their new home, so a higher power (the same one behind the inner Six in Baltar’s head and the inner Baltar in Six’s head…..remember, Baltar’s inner six repeatedly referred to God’s plan………) brought her back to finish the job and, as soon as it was done she disappeared.

Couldn’t be bothered with the flashbacks in the final episode. They didn’t really add anything to what’s been shown over the previous 70-odd episodes.

Cavill’s actions at the very end made no sense either……spend all that time trying to regain resurrection tech then kill yourself?
