The CD of Ade Edmondson’s latest musical venture, The Bad Shepherds, fell through my door today. It’s a collection of celtic/folk(ish) cover versions of such classics as I Fought the Law (Sonny Curtis/Clash etc), Down in the Tube Station at Midnight (The Jam), Rise (PiL), Teenage Kicks (Undertones), God Save the Queen (Sex Pistols) etc, and it seems to work very well. Hopefully I’ll get to see them in Frome in July, if not they’ll be at Cropredy anyway (mental note: must get around to ordering tickets one day).

Sounds bloody ace :)
Agreed.
Will have to hunt it down.
Mike Harding played a track on his radio 2 folk show this evening, was good. I have a strange urge to dig out some Jake Thakray as well :)
