It turns out that we’re being short-changed in the UK, and the forthcoming DVD and Blu-ray releases of Watchmen will contain the theatrical release only, and not the extended director’s cut being release in the US.
Consequently I’ve just cancelled my pre-order for the Blu-ray, and all being well the US release won’t be region coded.
I expect the extended will come out in the UK once everyone’s bought the shorter one, then they have to buy them again
