The geared Trek 69er has now been built, the only stumbling block is that I can’t get the rear tyre seated properly, it looks like it’s catching on the rim strip, time to attack it with tyre levers again.
Update: Apply two doses of Fairy Liquid, pump it up to 60psi, and 30 minutes later the recalcitrant bead pops into place.
Yay. When’s the maiden ride?
Probably to work and back tomorrow, then a proper ride at the weekend weather permitting.
Did you do the washing-up while you waited seeing as how you had found the Fairy-Liquid?
I did wash a wine glass while I waited.
Where are the damn pics? :-)
