It’s been 3.5 years since I was last at The Roadmender, this is the 5th time I’ve seen New Model Army there, and I believe the 26th time I’ve seen them as a full band. As always it was a superb gig, but a little bit warm and sticky.

It was a wet and miserable trip up to Coventry, although Half Man Half Biscuit were there to save the day. They ambled on stage to “Mouldy Old Dough” by local band Lieutenant Pigeon, and proceeded to play and chat for the best part of two hours.
