Today was just a quick session to touch up any bits which needed a bit more work, add the missing tail, and generally tidy it up a bit. It was made slightly more interesting because the chair was broken and stuck and full height which meant Leigh had to stand up to work.
It’s all finished now, and just to keep Matt happy there will be pictures at the weekend (probably).
Is it time to plan the next tattoo?
It’s pretty much done now. All the colouring was done today, although we decided not to do all the white as the chances are that it probably wouldn’t look very good after a while.
All I need to do now is to leave it for three weeks or so, then go back to get it touched up a bit to finish it off.
Photos in a week or so.
I had another hours work done on the tattoo this afternoon. Most of the black is now complete, although a few bits of outline still need doing.
Session three is going to be a two hour session in three weeks time, it would have been sooner but there’s a scout camp in the way.
One month to the day (probably) since Hobbes died, I had the first session on the Hobbes memorial tattoo.
Just the basic outline was done this time, the main detail and the colouring will be done in subsequent sessions. It should end up looking like this when it’s finished in a few months time.
Session two is due in about three weeks time.
I had a letter today reminding me that I needed to take Hobbes for a routine blood test.
After going missing at the end of last month then turning up at a vets 12 miles away, Hobbes died on Sunday night aged 14 or so.
